Understanding Your Animal

Muscle tension works as an antagonist against the entire body placing unnecessary stress on an opposing muscle or joint, resulting in less effective overall movement of the animal.  Similarly to humans, sports massage, specifically, focuses on the cause of a muscle injury, with the intended purpose of helping to relieve muscular pain and aiding in the prevention of future injuries to those muscles.  Sports massage has continued to grow in popularity as a valuable asset to any companion and performance animal health care program.  Give them that extra 20%!
